I have been meaning to take this self-portrait for quite a long time. Problem is I just couldn't find the perfect baroque wall paper for the composition. Hence, I resorted to drawing/painting the whole background with trusty pentel pens and india ink. The result with the hand-painted background was much more satisfying than what was originally planned, for me at least.
