First things first: My sincerest apologies to new watchers, s and comments I have failed to thank, and most especially for the lack of new material. I haven't been logging in to DA much.

Having started on a mission to finish more than 20 paintings for my major solo exhibit, I have been living as a "semi-hermit" for about 2 months now. I've always had this notion that artists would occasionally disappear for a certain span of time only to come back with a fresh new batch of works for the whole world to see, but I've never thought that such would happen to me. I still am exerting effort not to live under a rock even if the thought of doing that just to finish my exhibit pieces is quite tempting.

And because I still am not half-way through with the pieces, I shall be on a much longer hiatus. I will try my best to squeeze in small paintings, illustrations, and photographs throughout the course of this "hibernation."

Other than preparations for my exhibit, one other thing has been keeping me busy lately -- my online mask shop called Midnight Masquerade. Here's a little description taken from my site:
